  1. Hartbeeps at BabyBe: Offord

The idea of Hartbeeps at BabyBe: first started in the run up of the opening of our second shop BabyBe: Offord. We had an opening day planned with a barbecue, faceprinting and visits from Elsa and Captain America and thought it would be lovely for Hartbeeps to come along and run a few classes for the children. The Hartbeeps proved a massive success and Anna and I thought it would be a great idea to run Hartbeeps regularly at BabyBe: Offord. We have a lovely Baby Tea area where parents can also enjoy a cup of Teapigs tea before or after their session. The Hartbeeps will run on a Tuesday morning at BabyBe: Offord.

  2. The new BabyBe: Offord shop had its grand opening on Saturday 16th July 2016, celebrating the expansion of the already existing, independent family run Baby & Childrens Boutique, BabyBe: St. Neots. The new shop stocking an impressive range of pushchair and nursery furniture brand, Bugaboo, UPPAbaby, Silver Cross, iCandy, Kidsmill and Boori. Also offering a Baby Tea cafe for mums to meet, breastfeed in comfort and enjoy a Teapigs tea.

Part of the opening day celebrations were to raise money for the Paediatric Gastroenterology Service at Addenbrookes Hospital. A service close to the heart of owners, Katy and Jon Levey as their son is a sufferer of Ulcerative Colitis. Having been diagnosed at 3 years old, Euan under went life changing surgery at the hospital after becoming resistant to all his medication.

The family would like to give something back to the service to thank them for all the support received over the years and hope to raise £900 this year, the cost needed to train a nurser to become an Inflammatory Bowel Disease specialist.

Many generous companies donated prizes, locally Limelight Entertainment, Shakie Jakes, Ricky James barbers, Waterside Leisure Club, Daisy Birthing St Neots, Photogravix, Salon Aqua, alongside Silver Cross, BeSafe, Micro Scooters, and Pizza Express. With these prizes the shop managed to raise an impressive £230 for the hospital so far. The winners have now been drawn and notified and are due to collect their prizes soon.
